Alternatives for Crime Scholarship Foundation, Inc. collaborates with the following companies and organizations utilizing the Calling Card for Success© program to provide an array of alternative solutions for today’s student to obtain educational, social, and complete career success.

 

School Systems

AFC partners with local schools to obtain our students and to connect with their families. We are able to host our comprehensive after-school programs at local schools. In addition, we are able to hire our most skilled staff to facilitate our Calling Card for Success© program at their facility.

Mayor’s Offices

AFC partners with local Mayor’s offices to build community relations. Mayor’s office provide AFC with access to workforce development, internships, and other leadership programs to enhance the experiences of our students.

Housing authorities

AFC partners with local housing authorities to build community relations. In addition, we are able to work within their facilities to provide our students access to our programs.


 

SkillbotT™

AFC partners with SkillBott, which is a comprehensive, standards based curriculum, delivered online, that teaches students the critical soft skills or 21st Century Skills they will need to obtain employment and build a successful career. Our students will learn how to:

•   Communicate with peers and supervisors
•   Act and behave in a workplace setting
•   Search for a job and prepare for the interview  
•   Improve workplace performance
•   Identify and develop professional skills for future success

The goal of SkillBott is to give our students the ability to create, communicate, collaborate, analyze and problem-solve in any workplace environment.

Police/Fire departments

AFC partners with local police and fire departments to engage students with safety information. In addition, students are able to explore and learn about careers in both fields.

Colleges/Universities

AFC partners with local colleges and universities to expose our students to secondary education opportunities through college tours. In addition, we are able to host workshops and conferences at their facilities.
